The game is played with six 52 standard card decks.

The cards have the same value as they do in Poker, with Aces having the highest value amongst the cards.

The objective of the game for the player is to be dealt a higher ranking single card than that of the dealer's card.

A Tie will occur if both the player and the dealer have the same value card. For example, if both the player and dealer have a 7.

If a Tie occurs, then the player may either surrender, in which case the player will only lose half the bet, or the player can go to War, which means that the player must place an additional bet of equal value to the original bet.

If the player's card is ranked higher than the dealer's card, then the player wins the same value of the orginal bet only.
